After settling in, your evening is spent exploring Kathmandu Durbar Square, the heart of the ancient city. Wander through narrow courtyards lined with intricately carved wooden temples and palaces while your guide explains their history and significance. The fading sunlight casts golden hues on the centuries-old monuments, providing a magical introduction to Nepalese heritage.

After breakfast, a short drive takes you to Patan (Lalitpur), renowned for its artistic heritage. The Patan Durbar Square showcases ancient palaces, courtyards, and the exquisite Hiranya Varna Mahavihar (Golden Temple). You’ll explore the bustling squares, interact with local artisans, and observe traditional rituals. The afternoon includes visits to nearby Buddhist shrines and workshops specializing in paubha paintings.
Day 3Bhaktapur & Nyatapola Temple
A full-day excursion brings you to Bhaktapur, a medieval city frozen in time. Wander through its cobbled streets, visit the majestic Nyatapola Temple, and witness centuries-old wood carvings and courtyards. Afternoon tea at a local traditional café allows time to observe pottery, weaving, and other artisanal crafts that Bhaktapur is famous for. Return to Kathmandu in the evening.
Day 4Swayambhunath & Boudhanath Stupas
The day starts with Swayambhunath, perched atop a hill and offering panoramic views of the Kathmandu Valley. Spin prayer wheels, admire the frescoes, and observe monks in prayer. In the afternoon, explore Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest stupas in South Asia. The stupa’s expansive mandala and surrounding monasteries give travelers a sense of Nepal’s living heritage, blending architecture and spiritual life
