Itinerary

Day 1Arrival in Kathmandu & Evening Private Pashupatinath Aarti
Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer to a heritage boutique hotel in central Kathmandu (30–40 minutes). After check-in and rest, enjoy exclusive terrace access to Pashupatinath Temple to witness the evening Shiva aarti from a private vantage point. Your guide explains the rituals, chants, and mythological stories while you observe sadhus performing meditation and devotees offering prayers along the Bagmati River ghats. Dinner is served at a traditional courtyard restaurant.
Day 2Changu Narayan & Doleshwor Mahadev – Architectural & Spiritual Immersion
After breakfast, drive 30–40 minutes northeast to Changu Narayan, Nepal’s oldest temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Explore intricate wood carvings, ancient inscriptions, and the surrounding village life. Midday, continue to Doleshwor Mahadev, a hilltop Shiva shrine. Participate in a puja ritual with guidance from a local priest and enjoy panoramic valley views. Return to Kathmandu in the late afternoon for rest or optional rooftop photography sessions.
Day 3Sankhu & Vajrayogini Temple – Ritual & Meditation
Drive 1–1.5 hours to Sankhu, a medieval town where Hindu and Buddhist traditions merge. Guests join morning puja rituals, spin prayer wheels, and interact with local caretakers. A short uphill hike (30–40 minutes) leads to Vajrayogini Temple, where participants engage in guided meditation and ritual offerings. Day 4Bhaktapur – Artisan Immersion & Festival Rituals
Morning drive to Bhaktapur, exploring hidden courtyards, ancient squares, and artisan streets usually closed to regular tourists. Participate in paubha painting, mask-making, or pottery workshops with master artisans. Afternoon includes optional festival rituals if seasonal, or a private storytelling session on the city’s dynasties and spiritual history. Day 5Kirtipur – Newar Village & Culinary Experience
Morning drive to Kirtipur, a hill town rich in Newar culture. Explore temples, palaces, and traditional alleys with a local historian. Midday, engage in a hands-on cooking session with a Newar family, preparing traditional dishes for ritual offerings. Afternoon includes a guided walk through sacred courtyards and interaction with village elders. Return to Kathmandu for evening at leisure.
Day 6Chandragiri Sunrise Ritual & Hidden Goddess Temples
Early morning transfer to Chandragiri Hills for sunrise over the Himalayas. Participate in ritual offerings at hilltop shrines, accompanied by traditional music. Afternoon visit to hidden goddess temples like Taleju and neighborhood shrines accessible only with local guides. Evening return to Kathmandu for cultural debrief and reflection session at hotel.
Day 7Artisan Villages – Mask Making & Performance Evening
Drive to Nala and Thimi villages, renowned for traditional masks, pottery, and metalwork. Guests craft their own ritual masks under artisan guidance. Afternoon includes a visit to local shrines and interaction with temple caretakers. Evening features private traditional music and dance performance in a courtyard open only to special guests.
Day 8Kathmandu River Pilgrimage & Seasonal Festival Participation

Day 9Reflective Temple Walk & Departure
