Bardiya National Park

Bardia, located in the western Terai region of Nepal, is best known for the Bardia National Park, one of the country’s largest and most pristine wildlife reserves.

Covering over 960 square kilometers, the park is home to diverse flora and fauna, including Bengal tigers, one-horned rhinoceroses, elephants, and numerous bird species. The region’s dense jungles, grasslands, and river ecosystems offer an ideal environment for wildlife safaris and eco-tourism. Bardia also provides visitors with opportunities to experience the rich Tharu culture, known for its traditional dances, crafts, and hospitality. Peaceful and less crowded than other parks, Bardia is a hidden gem for nature lovers and adventure seekers.
