Tilicho Lake

Tilicho Lake, located in the Manang district of Nepal, is one of the highest lakes in the world, situated at an altitude of about 4,919 meters above sea level.

Formed by glacial melt from the surrounding Annapurna range, the lake is renowned for its striking turquoise waters set against a backdrop of towering snow-capped peaks. It lies along the popular Annapurna Circuit trek and attracts both trekkers and nature enthusiasts for its breathtaking scenery and serene atmosphere. Tilicho Lake holds cultural significance as well, being mentioned in ancient Hindu texts as a sacred site.
