Yamdrok Lake, also known as Yamdrok Yumtso, is one of the three largest sacred lakes in Tibet.

Situated at an altitude of about 4,441 meters, it stretches in a stunning blue-green expanse surrounded by snow-covered mountains. According to Tibetan belief, the lake is the lifeblood of Tibet and is revered as a sacred site that embodies spiritual energy.
